The outside hitter jumps two feet out of the pool for a spectacular pass. The striker skillfully shoots the ball into the goal. The setter sets the ball perfectly for an attack hit. The dancer executes her routine flawlessly for her teacher.  But on the receiving end, there’s a familiar face — the face of family. Their teammate by chance.

Whether it be between siblings or parents, playing the same sport as a family member creates a bond like no other. A bond built upon determination, trust and love. This strong connection, however, does not necessarily come easy.
