Several FUHSD students participate in summer programs to explore an area that they are passionate about. Since a majority of programs in 2021 were either canceled or carried out online, students were especially eager to attend both online and in-person programs this past summer. Some programs are based at universities and give students the opportunity to take college-level courses or conduct university research, while other programs facilitate hands-on projects, such as building an app or creative media.
