Three cultural clubs at MVHS celebrate the Lunar New Year

Plates of delicacies are passed around, ranging from spongy airy Chinese cakes dubbed “Fa Gao” to pan-fried traditional Korean dumplings. These are just a few foods commonly eaten during Lunar New Year, which is commemorated by numerous Asian cultures. On Feb. 6, Chinese Honor Society collaborated with the Vietnamese Student Association and Korean Club to host a joint Lunar New Year event.
