Strong performances by varsity athletes reflect a winning score heading into CCS.
The Santa Clara Valley Athletic League wrestling finals took place on Feb. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the MVHS gym. The tournament started with athletes competing in the consolation brackets for the semi-final rounds with a chance to secure third place – the highest placement possible for winning a consolation match. The consolation matches wrapped up at 12:30 p.m. as coach Ian Bork announced a 20-minute break before the commencement of the varsity finals.
