Unpacking the advertisements targeted toward the MVHS community

Advertisements on social media sites have increased heavily within the past decade, and due to specific algorithms, ads can be targeted based on user’s previous search history, interests, and online data. MVHS students and staff recognize this increase in online advertising in fashion, music and games, sharing both their thoughts and most advertised items.
