‘The Misanthrope’: Behind the Camera
A dive into Drama's first virtual production
After having to postpone last year’s Spring Play, Mamma Mia, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MV Drama department has put together and released its first virtual play: “The Misanthrope.” Loosely set in the 17th-18th century, the sarcastic French-inspired comedy follows the pursuit of the female lead, Célimène, by several suitors, who metaphorically mask their true natures in how they present themselves.
