Beginnings can be refreshing — a new start where one is allowed to reinvent themselves. Opportunities are presented left and right, but fear and anxiety are always around the corner.
The first year of high school is a stressful one, but eventually the time spent as a freshman will have slowly dimmed away, becoming nothing more than a distant, almost non existent memory. Some people will forcefully push away the memories of being an insecure newcomer and others will caringly foster them in a small corner of the mind. Whatever the case, this is documentation of that new, strangely suffocating but enjoyable beginning.
