Newly done chalk paintings, black and white photos, students playing live music and a canvas for anyone to add their own art were just a few of the featured parts of MVHS’ Art Festival, hosted by the Art department on Saturday, May 6. This public event, held from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M., showcased published work from many of the art students on campus. The live music and variety of art forms gave the whole afternoon a Renaissance vibe and showcased a layer of creativity often hidden in MVHS’ hallways.
