With the hot sun beating down on them, the Matadors hit an astounding five runs during the fourth inning, helping them secure a win as they defeated Fremont HS on May 3 with a score of 7-5. Their current ranking at a three way tie for third place in the league meant that MVHS would have to win all of their remaining games, including this one, to secure a spot at CCS. This victory eliminated one of the obstacles that blocked the Matadors from achieving their ultimate goal of the season. Click through the photos below to see some of the highlights of the game.
