Speech and Debate holds practice time for upcoming tournaments

Devika Watave

While most students were traveling or hanging out with their friends over February break, members of the MVHS Speech and Debate club were preparing for various upcoming competitions such as the CHSSA State Qualifier and NSDA National Qualifier tournaments. On Friday, Feb. 24, all three debate teams met from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and began practicing in their own ways. Listen to the Public Forum, Parliamentary and Lincoln Douglas debate captains explain what their debate entails and how they practice as a team.
