This winter has brought in enough rain to help ease Calif. out of its five year drought. But it’s hard to stay dry, especially for low-income families who might not be able to afford a thick winter coat or rain jacket. MVHS Leadership hosted a coat drive every brunch on Wednesdays from 9:05 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. for the duration of January. They offered hot cocoa in exchange for a moderately worn coat that will later be donated to a family in need. Look below to see some moments from the Jan. 18 and 25 coat drive.
