As finals approach, students find their way to RogerHub to calculate the exact percentage they need on the finals to a get a certain grade in the class — to calculate the exact amount of studying necessary.

Depending on the weight of a final, maybe studying isn’t even worth it or maybe studying for finals are the only worth it. Although teachers may not get to choose their room number, or the curriculum standards, they do get to choose how grades should be weighted. Finals vary from only 5% of a student’s grade in a class to 65%. From a survey of 50 teachers of varying subjects and class difficulties, take a look at the trends seen in weighing grades.
