Assistant Principal Mike White
El Estoque: Why did you decide to participate in Pajama Day today?
Mike White: Because it’s my favorite day of the year. You get to wear pajamas to school! I wear my flannels, you don’t have to dress up, you go out and then here you are.
EE: Where did you get your pajamas?
MW: These are a gift from my mom, Christmas last year.
EE: Is this the first time you’ve received pajamas as a gift from somebody?
MW: Oh no, my mom gets me a pair every Christmas. It’s like a tradition.
EE: Is there anything you find particularly unique about this pair?
MW: They’re really warm, because my parents live in Montana, and it’s cold, so they’re really thick and really warm, as opposed to California’s flannel, which is cold.
EE: Would you consider buying another pair in the future?
MW: No, ‘cause I’ll get them for Christmas.
Sophomore Mikaela Lee
El Estoque: Why did you decide to participate in Pajama Day today?
Sophomore Mikaela Lee: I woke up late, and didn’t really want to change, so I just wore my pajamas to school.
EE: Where did you get your pajamas?
ML: I stole them from my sister. I think they’re very sexy. It has Minnie Mouse on them, and very nice hearts and coloring.
EE: Do you have any other pairs of pajamas?
ML: Yeah, I like collecting pajama pants. I have three pairs, [my favorites are] the ones I’m wearing now.
Freshman Bryce Nevitt
El Estoque: Why did you decide to participate in Pajama Day today?
Freshman Bryce Nevitt: It’s easy to do.
EE: Where did you get your pajamas?
BN: Probably like Old Navy or something.
EE: Is there anything you find particularly unique about this pair?
BN: I don’t know, I don’t wear them very much, I just thought I would wear them for pajama day. I wear sweatpants, or gym shorts.
