Sweet flavor combinations, but not worth the hype.
There’s no way you haven’t heard of Cookies Rule Everything Around Me, also known as CREAM: an ice cream store that has spawned countless Instagram posts about waiting in long lines for cheap, tasty combinations of ice cream cookie sandwiches among other desserts. To help you decide which treat to settle your sweet tooth on, El Estoque checked out the newest location in San Jose, opened earlier this month. While most of us had no complaints the price — between two to three dollars depending on the combination — and the taste, we found the presentation sloppy: cold cookies, messy to eat and a little overrated.
