On Oct. 19, students and community members gathered at CHS for the Unity Rally organized by the students and faculty of CHS in the days leading up to Westboro Baptist Church’s planned picket. Starting at 8:00 a.m., students from local schools came together for 45 minutes of silent vigil, song, and dance. Westboro Baptist Church members left CHS at 8:30 a.m. to proceed to their next picket location at the Apple Campus.
