Sophomore Ashton Krajnovich travels the world with his father and brother, documenting every moment in their joint journal
Tent, hiking shoes, journal.
Every year, several times a year, sophomore Ashton Krajnovich goes on a new adventure. Accompanying Krajnovich on his journeys are his dad, Douglas Krajnovich and brother, Ethan Krajnovich. They have the drive to climb the taller mountain, hike through the rain and even withstand the millions of insects. Travelling the world, taking his curiosity for geography and the little red notebook that records it all.
Krajnovich keeps a joint journal with his dad recording ever detail the boys encounter, from names of hiking trails to where they ate lunch.
"When we read the entries, it's like reliving the trip," Krajnovich said.
The journal contains the miniscule details everyday tourist would dismiss. Cluttered with maps and rushed hand writing, the book presents the authenticity of a hiker, an explorer—a mountaineer.
