EE: If you're attending college, which college are you attending? And what is your major?
NN: I'm attending UC Berkeley and my major is electrical engineering and computer science.
EE: What are some of your favorite memories these past four years of MVHS?
NN: Going to club meetings and sharing similar interests with people who have similar interests. Rallies were also pretty fun to watch especially because of leadership.
EE: What are some aspects of MVHS that you will miss and what are some aspects that you won't miss?
NN: I'll definitely miss people here — I've made a lot of close friends. Not even my closest friends, but the people I've met and interacted with in this school are amazing. I've made some personal connections with teachers as well that I'll definitely miss. I won’t miss the studious environment here. I am glad that people motivate each other to work hard in school, but sometimes it might be too much.
EE: What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
NN:I haven't been on vacation for four years so I'm really looking forward to going to India. I also hope to go on a senior trip that we haven't planned yet, but I’m going traveling a lot so I'm excited.
EE: What advice would you give incoming freshmen?
NN: Don't think about what you should be doing. Rather, focus on what you want to be doing. I know in freshman year I was told by a lot of people, ‘Oh, if I want to get into this I have to follow this exact pathway.’ And sometimes that felt stressful. Over the years, I realized that I don't really need to follow a very specific pathway. Just putting all my effort into the things that I love doing and college admissions counselors will see that.
