A class-by-class dive into outstanding athletes at MVHS

From seniors to freshmen, MVHS has many promising athletes. In this package, we will be taking a class-by-class dive into four outstanding athletes from track and field, tennis, swimming and ice hockey.

Leah Desai, Staff Writer

Leah is currently a sophomore and a staff writer for El Estoque. She is a member of the volleyball team at Monta Vista and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and listening to music.

Manas Kottakota, Sports Editor

Manas is currently a junior and sports editor for El Estoque. In his free time, he enjoys biking with his friends, traveling to new places with his family and cooking.

Daphne Huang, Sports Editor

Daphne Huang is currently a senior and a sports editor for El Estoque. When she manages to escape the paws of her attention-seeking husky, she can usually be found playing badminton, managing cat cafes or spending time with family and friends.

Kalyani Puthenpurayil, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Kalyani is currently a senior and a co-editor-in-chief for El Estoque. She previously served as a sports editor and is a midfielder on the field hockey team at MVHS. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music and spend time with her little brothers and friends.
