About the Writers

Ayah Ali-Ahmad is the co-Editor-in-Chief of El Estoque. Outside of El Estoque, she is the President for Gender-Sexuality Alliance club and the Senior Director of Communications for MVHS's largest volunteering club, Octagon. In her free time away from her school life, she enjoys listening to music and getting boba with friends.

Devin Gupta, Managing and Web Editor

Devin is currently a senior and a third-year staff writer, managing editor and website editor for El Estoque. In his free time, he enjoys skateboarding and watching Star Trek.

Rachel Jiang, News Editor

Rachel is currently a senior and news editor for El Estoque. She is a varsity member of the MVHS Cross Country team and a VP of LD and varsity member of MVHS Speech and Debate Club. In her free time, she enjoys collecting stamps, studying politics and policy and taking photos.

Kripa Mayureshwar, Managing Editor

Kripa is currently a senior and a managing editor for El Estoque. She is an officer for the Random Acts of Kindness club and a member of MV Andaaz. In her free time, she enjoys painting, singing and getting boba with her friends.

Riya Ravuri, Features editor

Riya is currently a senior and a features editor for El Estoque. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, traveling, walking her dog and drinking Shirley Temples.

Nika Zamani, Sports Editor

Nika is a senior and sports editor for El Estoque. Along with being a staff writer for La Pluma and Res Novae, she is the founder and president of the Monta Vista Persian Club. In her free time, she likes to go on walks and spend time with her friends.
