As Mother’s Day approaches this Sunday, many of us have begun brainstorming about how we can show our love for our mothers. From serving breakfast in bed to buying flower bouquets, many ideas come to mind but one common heartwarming gift can be among the most effective: handmade cards. Flower Bouquet Card (~20 minutes)

Materials:

  • Five sheets of colored paper
  • One strip of 1 x 8 inch green paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil or pen
  • Glue stick, super glue, or tape

 

Opening Hand Card (~5 minutes)

  • One sheet of 3 x 9.25 inch colored paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

Hidden Message Card (~15 min)

  • One sheet of 7.25 x 9.25 inch colored paper
  • Two strips of colored paper (2 x 9 inch and 2 x 5 inch)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
