Following a tumultuous election cycle with debate over the new redevelopment plan for Vallco Shopping Mall, the Cupertino City Council election closed on Nov. 6. Incumbent mayor Darcy Paul, Better Cupertino co-founder Liang Chao and incumbent councilwoman Savita Vaidhyanathan emerged as the three members of Cupertino’s future city council.
