On Tuesday, Oct. 23, two weeks after their screening exams, Science Olympiad released team selections for prospective competitors for the different categories, including: biology, chemistry, earth science, ecology, engineering and inquiry of science. Over 50 applicants from MVHS applied for 45 spots on one of Science Olympiad’s three teams, which are separated by members’ skill level and experience. Through a written test and a general interview, Science Olympiad officers searched for driven, capable and spirited competitors.
