Each year, the freshman class is welcomed to MVHS by staff and Link leaders. As the freshmen face new opportunities and experiences, they also face daunting pressures and concerns. To find out more about what the class of 2022 thinks of high school, we’ve asked 50 freshmen a series of questions. She runs for the school's cross country and track teams and enjoys reading and hanging out with friends and family in her free time.

Jai Uparkar is a junior and a second-year staff member. She previously served as a multimedia news editor, and now serves as a print features editor. She plays tennis and in her free time, she likes to take Buzzfeed quizzes and spend time with her friends.
