Every March, Red Cross club members are encouraged to volunteer more than before, due to March being Red Cross month. It’s a tradition that began with president Franklin D. Roosevelt during World War II. Sophomore and Director of Public Relations Aadria Bagchi aims to join in more events this month as a way to show her spirit for the club and make up for her lack of attendance last year. Sophomore and club membership manager Wen Jin hopes that more people will volunteer during this month and be able to lend a hand to those in need. Red Cross month serves as a way for members to show their spirit, but it also stands as a time to celebrate all that the Red Cross stands for.
