Senior Sabrina Hung has been baking for years, so when she received the opportunity to participate in a program at the Culinary institute of America in New York City over this summer, she was thrilled. Though she didn’t particularly enjoy making pastries before attending the program, she gained a newfound appreciation for them after making plenty at her classes at the renowned institute.
Hung found this recipe – a beautiful-yet-easy pastry consisting of puff pastry sheets, apples and homemade honey butter – online, where she finds most of her inspiration for various baked creations. Follow along with Hung as she makes these simple and delicious rose apples.
