The show was soon to begin as the girls hurry backstage, rehearsing what they could in their small assorted huddles. On Saturday April 1st, the three MVHS dance class periods were given the option to perform at California’s Great America’s Dance Days, an annual dancing performance including different schools and academies.
Over 40 students danced the show, tallying nine performances — two per period and another three small group/solo performances. Performances ranged from hip-hop to classical Chinese, a variety that kept the audience curious. The audience, filled with parents, MVHS students and simply people intrigued by the dances, cheered wildly after every performance.
