On Dec. 16, El Estoque will interview actor Chris Colfer,known for his role as Kurt Hummel on “Glee,” about his new film “Struck by Lightning”. Directed by Brian Dannelly and written by Colfer himself, the film also stars Allison Janney, Christina Hendricks, Carter Jenkins and Robbie Amell.
The coming-of-age comedy film, which releases nationally on-demand on Dec. 19 and in select theaters on Jan. 11, portrays the life of high school senior Carson Phillips (Colfer) in the weeks leading up to his death by a lightning strike. Through flashbacks, Carson recounts his dynamic interactions with several quirky students as he ploys to have their writing in his own literary magazine.
The film’s production company, Tribeca Enterprises will host the interview with Colfer via Spreecast, a social video platform.
