Concert brings a variety of performers to the stage
On May 19, Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will join together for the annual Spring Concert. Friends and family will be able to enjoy a free concert filled with music such as “Vesuvions” by Frank Ticheli and “Ever Braver, Ever Stronger” by Gordon Goodwin.
As a special bonus, Wind Ensemble will have a flute duet playing “Concertante for Two Flutes” by Cimarosa. The Kennedy Middle School Advanced Band will also be performing as a guest at the event.
“There is no theme to this concert,” flutist junior Julie Pan said. “Instead, we gathered a variety of songs and performers [to perform at the event].”
The Spring Concert will be in the auditorium 7:30 p.m.
