Local community participates in annual Cherry Blossom Festival
Udon, tempura, and sake galore—the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Memorial Park was a successful ambassador of Japanese culture, at least food-wise.
Held on Apr. 30 and May 1, the Cherry Blossom Festival drew visitors from all over the Bay Area, offering them a variety of food kiosks and performances to enjoy. Many MVHS clubs participated in the festival, including Friends of Hue Foundation and Octagon, who sold udon and chicken salad, respectively.
