Student Life Commission plans their second Blue Pearl with help from clubs and Government Team
Government Team and clubs such as Octagon will help set up, serve dinner and clean up after the event. For their help, Government Team will be given 25 percent of the proceeds. The money will be used for their Washington DC trip later in the year.
“Every year there are a few people where their financial situations make it hard for them to go [to Washington DC] and this money will support them,” Government Team member senior Andy Cheon said. “[The Washington DC trip] means a lot to us because it is the trip at the end of the year where we combine all the skills we learned and apply it to real situations.”
Tickets will be sold in the Rally Court for $10 from March 9 to 23.
