After finishing as the No. 1 seed in the Central Coast Section (CCS) Division II playoffs, Varsity Boys Volleyball got a bye for the first round and advanced straight to quarterfinals, where they won 3-0 against Burlingame High School. On Thursday, May 9, the Matadors competed against Carmel High School in the semi-finals and beat CHS 3-0. The Matadors continued to dominate in the final round against Aragon High School on Saturday, May 11. With a flawless 3-0 victory, MVHS was crowned the CCS Division II Champions. However, on Saturday, May, 18 played in the NorCal Division III Championships and fell to Leigh High School 3-2.
