Girls Softball lost 17-3 to Fremont High School on March 21 in their first league game of the season. FHS trailed MVHS by four points in the first inning and managed to control the game throughout. From the second to the fifth inning, FHS scored 13 points while MVHS had only three runs. The game was forfeited after the fifth inning. Head Softball Coach Ceazar Agront says the loss was a “great learning experience” for the team, especially for the at least six new members on the team. Agront is happy to see a growth in the softball roster over the last months and to have the whole team compete.
