![“I'm incredibly thankful for my family, but also especially my friends, as they are one of my biggest sources of hope and motivation during these times of doubt,” freshman Lindsey Tang said. “Although we're distant and always behind screens, my friends still find all the opportunities to check in and connect with me in many activities, such as regular weekly Zoom calls, violin duets, safe biking trips around the park or neighborhood and more. They are still here to make me laugh, encourage me in any way possible and to create so many little fond memories just in a simple conversation on the phone. And right now, I think it's extremely important to have this … community of support, and people who experience almost the same life as you, which will essentially propel you forward and help to just keep [you] on track. Especially these past few years, I feel that communication and interaction is needed more than ever, and I'm just grateful for all my friends who entertain [me], help me deal with stress and keep me strong.”
