The Bay Area shelter-in-place advisory, first announced on March 16, thwarted many of the usual practices of the daily lives of local residents, from practicing religious rituals to attending concerts and school events. Despite these difficulties, however, many members of the MVHS community have found alternatives to make the most of their time at home. Explore the stories below to learn about how the shelter-in-place advisory is impacting some of the social aspects of the community’s lives and the different ways in which people are responding.
