Actors, hosts and skit directors clap for those who operated the lighting as MV SNL 2020 comes to an end.
On Saturday, Feb. 15, Monta Vista Saturday Night Live (MV SNL) held its second show of the year. MV SNL is an annual student-run sketch comedy show modeled after its namesake New York based production. With 11 skits and a guest musical performance from student band Ovtatvn, the production had a runtime of about two hours.
The show started with a monologue from the hosts — English teachers Jessica Kaufman and Randall Holaday. Holaday appreciates the production for its focus on humor.
“[MV SNL] doesn’t get enough credit, especially at a place like Monta Vista — things just being silly for the sake of being silly,” Holaday said. “I think it's super important and I wish more people came to it because there's a lot of hard work that goes into it.”
