Girls Who Code reflects on what female representation in STEM means to them

Members share their beliefs on the importance of women in STEM fields

MVHS Girls Who Code is a branch of the national Girls Who Code organization which aims to immerse female youth in computer science and spark confidence in their coding abilities to be able to pursue their future goals. For the members of MVHS’ Girls Who Code, female representation and equality in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields (STEM) is one of their top priorities, as a majority of the girls in the club are seeking to pursue careers in these fields.
