From eating sentient animals all the way to engaging in cannibalism, Philosophy club explored the moral complexity behind the food we choose. Senior and president of Philosophy club Nicholas Chen led the meeting today at lunch, juggling different ethical scenarios with junior and member Adamya Srivastava.
“It was a pretty entertaining meeting, but also allowed you to explore questions that you wouldn’t have otherwise,” Srivastava said. “[Questions such as,] would you eat a baby who had 100 percent negative value to society?”
