A group of five people sit at a table in the front of the choir room anticipating the arrival of the freshman biology classes to fill up the bleachers in front of them. Their name tags state their name as well as their pronouns, which give a brief introduction to the freshmen watching from the bleachers in the corners of the choir room.
This is the second time GSA has held a panel for freshman classes discussing gender and sexuality which they had recently learned during their Human Growth and Development unit. This panel started in 2016 and was created to answer any remaining questions that the freshman had about gender and/or sexuality. These questions could be anonymous or they could be asked aloud during the panel. Listen to the clip below to hear the discussion during the panel that the GSA held.
