With the red curtain pulled shut, choir students filed into the auditorium through the side doors and took their seats in front of the stage. A whisper of excitement drifted through the crowd as they saw the variety of costumes, including Peter Pan, Wendy, Carole King and many more.
The auditorium was almost packed at the MVHS Choral Department’s Broadway-themed concert on Friday, May 19. Featuring numbers from the perennial “Sound of Music” by Rodgers and Hammerstein to the ever-popular “Phantom of the Opera” by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show dazzled its audience with a fresh take on a number of musical classics.
