The Matador supporters lined up in the red and gold covered Cupertino HS gym found themselves vastly outnumbered. The significant crowd filling the CHS seats cheered their team on as they warmed up, but the visiting MVHS boys volleyball team was quick to silence them, defeating the home team 25-11, 25-15 and 25-13 in their second league game of the year.
MVHS boys volleyball won in straight sets in their match against CHS on Fri., March 10. Consistent serves and strong returns helped give the Matadors the lead early in the first set, while tough blocks helped give them the match. Strong plays at the net on both the defensive and offensive ends guaranteed an easy victory for MVHS.
