Gearing up for their first robotics competition in Flagstaff, Ariz., this weekend, members of MVRT have spent their after schools and weekends preparing. However, according to the Director of Finance junior Sameer Kapur, the competition robot is bagged up and not allowed to be opened until competition day.
“We actually build a second robot,” Kapur said. “That’s the robot we use for driver practice, testing, and if we want to build new mechanisms and repairs.”
