The first matchup between Tragic Bronson Squad and #THEPROCESS was marked by a flurry of buckets. Senior and varsity swimmer Felix Chiun was on fire from deep, draining three pointer after three pointer. Chiun’s play along with strong drives from senior Shiv Nair and sophomore varsity basketball player Akshay Gopalkrishnan helped guarantee the win for Tragic Bronson Squad, 25-12.
For every big shot from the first matchup, there was a big hit in the second. Sparm Whales and OCHOA faced off in one of the most intense intramural basketball games to date. Scuffles broke out between both squads, resulting in hard fouls and tough loose ball calls. In a deadlocked back-and-forth that went into overtime, the game got even more intense, bringing in spectators from all parts of the MVHS community. Despite a strong showing from senior varsity soccer player Alex Dunn and senior varsity football player Pranad Reddy, the Sparm Whales were unsuccessful. Varsity basketball players sophomore AJ Falak and seniors Ron Talmor and Aditya Mohan led OCHOA to victory.
