In the second quad game of the season, the girls basketball team faced Lynbrook HS, a team ranked one place above MVHS in the El Camino League before Friday’s game. The game was close throughout, with LHS leading 32-28 after three quarters. In the fourth quarter however, MVHS dominated 19-9 to complete a comeback and win the game 47-41.
