Football: Wrap up of the last home game

Becca Zheng

After a tough week at practice, the Matadors took the field for their last home game of the season against Los Altos HS, hoping to go out with a bang. And they started off with just that. On the first possession of the game, the Matadors offense drove 75 yards into the endzone to take an early 7-0 lead. But after that, everything began to slow down. The defense was unable to contain the speed and strength of the Eagles’ offense, and LAHS scored 48 unanswered points. Watch the video below to see clips of the Matadors practice and the highlights from their 48-7 defeat against Los Altos HS.
