At around 11:00 p.m. on Feb. 5th, freshman Christina Wu was on the stage in the auditorium with her parents and the congressman and the mayor and the principal and Google employees and a blown up canvas of her artwork. But 30 minutes before, she was filing into the room with the rest of her PE class, not sure what was going on and confused by the colorful t-shirts administrators were handing out.Wu’s design, “Asian Culture”, was a state winner and will move on to the national Doodle4Google contest. Principal April Scott encouraged students to support Wu by voting for her design here.
