As the California sun disappears and the winter frost appears on windshields, many look for ways to stay warm at home. While it may be tempting to blast the heater or light up the fireplace, AP Environmental Science Teacher Andrew Goldenkranz explained ways that students can be stay warm, and eco-friendly, during the winter holidays.
“Some of the behaviors we think about are definitely seasonal,” Goldenkranz said. “I know in summertime, we tend to think a lot about water and in wintertime, you have the right instinct, you want to think a lot about energy.”
