The Matadors have had an up and down season. From starting off the season 1-6 to going on a 13-3 run midway through the season, they’ve been through the thick and thin. The team is lead by the leadership of a veteran senior core, and with their help, they have clinched a spot in the CCS Division I playoffs for the first time in two years. Finishing, third place in the El Camino Division, the Matadors were given an at large-bid, seeded fourteenth. They will be taking a road trip on Wednesday, May 18 to Gilroy to play the third-seeded Christopher Cougars and are hoping to pull off an upset.
