Almost every day, at least one heater at MVHS breaks down. The units that heat the most of the school are high-voltage alternating current units, better known as HVAC units. Each room except those in the lower A, B and C buildings are heated with these units. Therefore, if the heat is out in one room, it’s out on the whole floor. Luckily, one HVAC unit heats only one classroom. According to facilities manager Chris Kenney, this is how HVAC units are fixed.
