During second period on Dec. 2, the fire alarm system encountered a connection glitch, setting off the school’s fire alarms. Students and staff evacuated and returned to their classrooms only to be welcomed by the fire alarm going off again. Principal April Scott made a PA announcement for students and teachers to ignore the alarm and proceed with their schedule. Facilities Manager Chris Kenney explains what went wrong that day and the steps he and his team took to fix the problem.
