When Electronics teacher Ted Shinta entered his room at lunch on Nov. 19, a group of students had already trickled in. Having made F108 their usual hangout, they played computer games, ate their lunch and discussed the meaning of Forrest Gump. On this Wednesday lunch, three additional students waited in the room. President of the Beatboxing Club, junior Annie Liu, and club members junior Lee Liang and senior Kevin Zhang waited for a couple of minutes before they began the meeting. The club is small, ranging from three to seven members at meetings. Regardless, every other Wednesday, this small group explores and learns new tricks by beatboxing together.
